How Licensing Works

A brand licensing partnership includes a Licensor and a Licensee. The Licensor is the owner of the IP (or Property), and they allow the Licensee to use their IP/Property in exchange for a fee or royalty. The Licensee develops a new product utilizing the Licensor’s IP/Property, generating sales and creating greater demand and visibility for the brand.
